SUMMARY:UCAI 2020
DESCRIPTION:Call for Papers\n\nThe proliferation of AI-based techniques pos
es a range of new challenges for the design and engineering of interactive
and adaptive systems since they tend to act as black boxes and do not offer
the user sufficient transparency, control, and interaction opportunities,
which are considered major goals of user-centered design in the HCI field.
The first Workshop on User-Centered Artificial Intelligence (UCAI ’20), hel
d in conjunction with the 2020 Mensch und Computer conference, aims at shar
ing and discussing recent developments at the intersection of HCI and AI, a
nd at exploring novel methodological, technical, and interaction approaches
. The full-day workshop will feature oral or poster presentations of accept
ed full and position papers, respectively, and is intended to encourage dis
cussion, networking, and especially the development of a research agenda on
  future work.\n\nImportant Dates\n\n Submission deadline: June 19th, 2020
  	Notification: July 3rd, 2020 Camera-ready deadline: July 10th, 2020 \n\n
